You can use the menu on the left to find more specific information on grant schemes, including the Woodfuel East Strategic Investment Support Programme and the Woodfuel East Boiler Installation Grant Scheme.

There are grants available from a variety of sources. Visit the Biomass Energy Centre website or contact your Woodfuel East Business Development Advisor.

Before carrying out any work in woodland you may need a felling licence, require a licence under the Habitat Regulations or require an Environmental Impact Assessment from the Forestry Commission. You should also contact your local authority to determine if your woodland is covered by a Tree Preservation Order or is within a Conservation Area.
